This post has nothing to do with mobile phones but I just came across this page that compares italians to other EU citizens. I found it so funny, just picture the lebanese flag instead of the italian one, and you'll get the idea about a typical lebanese person and other typical lebanese social caracteristics... Man, I thought we were unique! Die you Italian!

Well after firmly deciding to create my own blog, I wondered about the contents and the title. And this is what I came up with

Contents : Since I tend to speak a lot and never shut up, the contents will range from

• mainly symbian news and applications news (1), s60 3rd tricks, personal symbian thoughts, nokia 3250 tricks + symbian knowledge for the dummies + application reviews (2)
• to other mobile news (worth being mentioned)
• and general tech news
• but also sometimes, according to the mood, music / tv / movies posts
• and who knows maybe some personal stuff about my uni, my studies, my country ... (try to stop me when I'm on a roll)

(1) I would like to say that in no way I have personal a source for those symbian/mobile/tech/apps news, i'll just roam the net and post the interesting stuff

(2) I can't review internet related apps, since hehe I don't have internet on my phone (talk about a decent mobile blogger!). Yes, well, i tried to get wap as a first step, no luck with my line provider (mtc touch) and there is no 3G here, WiFi is quite rare, so I'm done to my phone and my phone only. No connectivity what-so-ever.

Title : Since the basic posts would relate to symbian, esp symbian O.S 9.1, I decided to call it dotsisx since recently many of the apps available for s60 3rd are in .sisx format :D, obviously

I was surfing a couple of weeks ago through the Darla Mack blog when I read a post about multiple selection in nokia phones. It seemed like this trick was unknown by many respectable bloggers out there but I knew it ever since... well basically ever since I bought my Nokia 3250 in June (no disrespect meant).

Then it occured to me that I am actually a heavy mobile user (i basically take it to the toilet with me :p ), i am a heavy mobile blogs/sites surfer. Plus I remembered reading somewhere on tommi's page (don't have the exact link) that there were many E-series blogs, few N-series... and I thought that there was no 3250 blog! Add to that the facts that:

- i am certainly one of the rare female mobile and symbian addicts

- i'd be definitly one of the rarest female mobile bloggers (apart Darla Mack, I came across none)

- i'd be the o.n.l.y female mobile blogger whose work domain is SO far from mobiles (I'm a 4th yearer pharmacy student)

- i'd even be o.n.e a.n.d o.n.l.y female pharmacist (soon to be) mobile blogger in lebanon

So this is how it all started, but I only put my project in action today because I had my finals at uni.

Anyway, I hope I bring something new to this mobile blogging community.
